E&E Customers — The NWS is predicting up to 2.5″ of rain overnight & tomorrow with winds out of the NE gusting to 35+. I’m not so concerned about the wind, but this new rain is on top of the 2″ we have had over the past several days. The ground is soggy and won’t absorb much more. The stationary low over NE NC is expected to move out on Thursday night. Fingers crossed for Friday.

Consequences: (1) Any outside work to be done will likely not be done; (2) Known leaking areas inside may be affected; (3) Ponding of water in lots and on parking pads, streets, etc.; (4) Guests inside rather than outside may bring new issues of wear & tear (or abuse).

Given we are full in to rental season, I’m not going to suspend Scheduled Visits but will be checking your places from the outside as I can. I know the “at risk” properties very well. If alerted by you or a guest in VRBO properties, I will respond given my COVID-19 protocols. Same for work orders I get from rental firms.

Reply here, or call/email with any special concerns.

Thanks, Mike
